The adaptations of marine mammals to aquatic life are studied in the context of the evolution of these animals from terrestrial ancestors. The practical component analyses ecological data to consolidate theoretical knowledge and develop research skills. The guiding line is knowledge for conservation, given the present threats these animals face.
